Before we get into the viewing guide, there’s news regarding one tournament that won’t happen this weekend. The Ivy League has canceled its tournament, originally scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the home of the Harvard Crimson, due to COVID-19, and awarded its automatic bid to the Yale Bulldogs, the regular-season champion. Earlier this week, Harvard University canceled all gatherings of 100 or more people, so it wouldn’t have been a shock to see the event played without spectators. However, a cancelation is far more surprising. Note that Harvard finished the regular season behind Yale and defeated the Bulldogs twice, so this decision definitely hurts the hosts from a basketball perspective.

From a public health perspective, however, that’s a different story.

On to the games that will be played, which include five conference title games that are scheduled to happen as of Tuesday afternoon Eastern time.

Horizon League Championship

At Indianapolis

No. 4 UIC Flames (18-16, 10-8) vs. No. 2 Northern Kentucky Norse (22-9, 13-5), 7 p.m. (ESPN)
The season series was a road split.

The Norse are looking for a second-consecutive trip to the field of 68, while the Flames last qualified in 2004. UIC routed the top-seeded Wright State Raiders, 73-56, in Monday’s first semifinal. They also blew out the Norse by 30 in Highland Heights on February 16th.

NEC Championship

At Moon Township, Pa.

No. 2 St. Francis (Pa.) Red Flash (21-9, 13-5) real madrid jersey toddler at No. 1 Robert Morris Colonials (19-14, 13-5), 7 p.m. (ESPN2)
The season series was a home split.

While it seems like the Colonials always represent the NEC In the NCAAs, they last qualified in 2015. But that’s nothing compared to the Red Flash, who haven’t made the field since 1991.

CAA Championship

At Washington, D.C.

No. 6 Northeastern Huskies (17-15, 9-9) vs. No. 1 Hofstra Pride (25-8, 14-4), 7 p.m. (CBSSN)
The Pride swept the season series.

While the Pride, who last made the field under Jay Wright in 2001, swept the season series with the Huskies, Northeastern defeated Hofstra in 2019’s CAA title game, 82-74.

WCC Championship

At Las Vegas

No. 3 Saint Mary’s Gaels (26-7, 11-5) vs. No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs (29-2, 15-1), 9 p.m. (ESPN)
The Bulldogs swept the season series.

Last season, the Gaels needed to beat the Bulldogs to make the field, and did so. After defeating the BYU Cougars last night, the stakes aren’t quite so high for Saint Mary’s this time. As for Gonzaga, they’re likely a No. 1 seed win or lose, though bubble teams are definitely happy the Zags knocked off the San Francisco Dons last night.

Summit League Championship

At Sioux Falls, S.D.

No. 6 North Dakota Fighting Hawks (15-17, 7-9) vs. No. 1 North Dakota State Bison (24-8, 13-3), 9 p.m. (ESPN2)
The season series was a home split.

The Bison are looking for a second bid in as many seasons, while their in-state rivals made their first and so far only trip to March Madness in 2017, as a Big Sky member.

ACC First Round

At Greensboro, N.C.

ACC Network will air both games.

Game 1: No. 13 Pittsburgh Panthers (15-16, 6-14) vs. No. 12 Wake Forest Demon Deacons (13-17, 6-14), 4:30 p.m.
The Demon Deacons won the pair’s lone meeting of the season on the road.

Game 2: No. 14 North Carolina Tar Heels (13-18, 6-14) vs. No. 11 Virginia Tech Hokies (16-13, 7-13), approx. 7 p.m.
The Hokies won the pair’s lone meeting of the season at home.

Neither of these games have any bracket impact, so you don’t need to worry about watching them … if you’re even able to.

MAAC First Round

At Atlantic City, N.J.

ESPN3 will stream all three games.

Game 1: No. 9 Manhattan Jaspers (12-17, 8-12) vs. No. 8 Fairfield Stags (12-19, 8-12), 5 p.m.
The Stags swept the season series.

Game 2: No. 10 Canisius Golden Griffins (12-19, 7-13) vs. No. 7 Iona Gaels (11-16, 9-11), approx. 7:30 p.m.
The Gaels swept the season series.

Game 3: No. 11 Marist Red Foxes (7-22, 6-14) vs. No. 6 Niagara Purple Eagles (11-20, 9-11), approx. 10 p.m.
The Red Foxes swept the season series.

The MAAC opens its tournament in a new, later window and a new venue, Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Perennial champion Iona is not the favorite this season, and the Gaels will need to win four games to make their fifth straight trip to the NCAA.

MEAC First Round

At Norfolk, Va.

Game 3: No. 9 Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks (5-26, 4-12) vs. No. 8 Delaware State Hornets (5NBA iPhone Accessories-25, 4-12), 6 p.m.
The season series was a road split.

Game 4: No. 10 Howard Bison (3-28, 1-15) vs. No. 7 South Carolina State Bulldogs (11-17, 6-10), approx. 8:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs won the pair’s lone meeting on the road.

Tonight’s winners play in the first of two quarterfinal doubleheaders tomorrow night.

The Panthers swept the season series.

The Jaguars swept the season series.

Game 3: No. 6 Grambling State Tigers (17-14, 11-7) at No. 3 Texas Southern Tigers (15-16, 12-6), 8:30 p.m.
Texas Southern swept the season series.

Game 4: No. 5 Alcorn State Braves (15-14, 11-7) at No. 4 Jackson State Tigers (14-17, 11-7), 9 p.m.
The Tigers swept the season series.

As of press time, none of the four host schools decided to stream their quarterfinal matchups. The good news is that ESPN3 will stream Friday’s semifinals from Birmingham.

America East Semifinals

A 1 vs. 2 final is not a foregone conclusion here, considering the success the visitors had against the hosts this season.
